You don’t need expensive software to convert a PowerPoint (Impress) presentation to Flash. In OpenOffice click file, export, save as flash (.swf) Done!
(yeah I know PowerPoint is MS not OpenOffice - but how many people would know what I meant if I said Impress?)
If you work on more than one computer, at home and at work for instance, it’s easy to sync both your files and your Firefox browser. For synching files I use Powerfolder (see recent post How To: Synchronise Remote Computers with Powerfolder) and for Firefox I use Google Browser Synch.
