Viral Tags

For those who haven’t seen them before, Viral Tags and Viralinks are both ways of building up backlinks quickly. Viralinks was started by Andy Coates and Viral Links is a spin off from this. RSS, FeedBurner and Overcoming the ‘More’ Tag

For posts with a ‘more’ tag, WordPress chops of the text in feed readers. As some of my posts are long I don’t want the whole text on the front page, but I do want my readers to be able to read ALL the text in their feed readers.

The word ‘feeds’ doesn’t seem to work so I’ve had to change the FeedBurner URL to append the word feed. The new address is AntiguaWebSolutionsBlogFeed. The original feed will continue for the time being but please re-subscribe with the above address.

The lovely flower image is from a photo by Jim (aka gotigersjf) adapted using Macromedia Fireworks.valid-css.png

Both the CSS and the XHTML are validated.

After going through many different distros, mostly based on Red Hat, I came across Sabayon! It’s based on Gentoo, which I always meant to try but never quite had the courage to install! From their website -

“Home Computing to the Next Level
« Get rid of Microsoft Windows. Install the Sabayon Linux Operating System and unleash the full potential of your Computer. Sabayon Linux features the most advanced Industry Open Source technologies: no hassles.”

It comes either on one CD or as a whopping 5Gb download that can be burned to a DVD and installed. Both versions act as live cd’s so you can give it a test run without trashing your existing OS.
