I’m off to visit my folks in (chilly - no rather freezing!) England later today. A line from Roger Whittaker’s Last Farewell comes to mind ‘from your land of endless sunshine, to my land full of rainy skies and gales’. That’s how I feel going to the UK in the depths of winter from sunny Antigua. They tell me snow is forecast for Xmas!
I’ll try to make a few posts while I’m there but don’t be surprised if they’re a bit thin on the ground. Expect some more great themes and interesting posts when I return in two weeks!

Only 2 weeks unfortunately! It wasn’t too cold most of the time except for just before I left when it snowed slightly.It was nice to see my family and to shop, everything in Antigua is so expensive!
