Publicise Your RSS Feed with RSS Hugger

logo.pngI’m always willing to try a new way to get traffic! Not just to get traffic for my blog but to research different methods. I’ve had mixed success with other methods I’ve tried so I’m curious to see how the new RSS Hugger will perform. At the moment there are 394 feeds in their database but it appears to be growing fast!

From their about page

rssHugger is a unique website that aims to bring bloggers and readers together. rssHugger aims to provide blog owners with a unique easy-to-use way to promote their blogs by sending them traffic, building backlinks for search engine optimization, as well as attracting new rss subscribers if the content is interesting to the reader. blockquote1.gif

How To: 4 Steps To Rank High in Google

google.pngI started blogging only three months ago so I don’t claim to be an expert on SEO! But I’ve learned a lot since then and would like to share some of my experiences, successes and links.

I was pleasantly surprised recently when I used Google with the keywords ‘technoblue wordpress style’. Now admittedly those aren’t particularly high ranking keywords but they are relevant to my blog! Links to my site were at no’s 1,2,3,8,9,10! (See a screenshot.) In addition ‘More results from antiguawebsolutions.com‘ gave a total of 143 links to my blog!

Other keywords such as K2 wordpress style, 3k2 wordpress style, 3K2 style, technoblue style, all rank on the first page. So here’s a list of my (decidedly non-expert) tips!

Increase Site Traffic with StumbleUpon Exchange

Another way to increase your site traffic! I came across StumbleUpon Exchange recently. I realise that Stumblers aren’t very sticky but if you keep your site at the forefront for stumblers it’s a way to increase your traffic.

StumbleUpon Exchange (suexchange) is a new service that allows you to post your sites and have them stumbled by other StumbleUpon users.

You earn “Points” by stumbling other user’s sites and you use them by posting your site to be stumbled and having your own site stumbled. You can verify each stumble before you reward Points. You are given 3 Points on sign up, which you can use to post your site to be stumbled. Each stumble they give you cost a point, but once you verify they’ve stumbled your site and given them a Point back you get a Point. This way the stumbles keep coming as does the traffic!

Check it out! If you join through this link I’ll get a few extra points! smile.gif
